Cornelius Van Rooyen was well known hunter who lived in Southern Rhodesia in the nineteenth century. He was especially known for the lion hunt and this has caused the need for a certain type of dog. Perhaps it was the lion stalk its prey what you want dogs that warned of just this occasion.
My friend lives in Van Rooyen break, a 1000-acre farm outside the town of Plumtree. The farm's name was Cornelius van Rooyen who settled there after leaving the game very active career, many years earlier. (If you happen to draw your attention, threat that intent can be almost crippling). From a distance of 30 meters, broke the left cover speed, grab its prey and washed ashore. History Cornelius said that he had visited near Fountain of Hope Mission, which at the time was held by the Rev. Charles Helm who had brought the region Swellendan Cape of South Africa, two small dogs and medium brown, straight hair, with a ridge of hair extends opposite along the spine above the shoulder, almost to the base tail. They were probably raised on a property of the Khoi-Khoi O, a native of that part of Africa, crossed with a more bigger, more solid imported from Europe.
Cornelius crossed his hunting dogs with the Rev. Helm establish a type known as Van Rooyen Leon dogs, tall, muscular, intelligent, and energy, maintaining the characteristic ridge of hair that later won the official title of Rhodesian Ridgebacks. They are often tan in the dark with a coat short, not much hair and are virtually free of odors. Usually, only bark if they have good reason to.
The actual way in which the dog has been used to hunt lions appears to have been of use packages harassment rotation of the lion and bring it to the bay, when you can shoot at close range.

They take various shapes and sizes and for protection against unforeseen long periods in water. Of course, it is also important to take care to wear.
