Diving Snorkeling
Is it better than diving in apnea?
I recently went snorkeling in the Bahamas and loved it. I snorkeled anywhere from one foot to 20 feet in barrier reef and saw cushion starfish, jellyfish, stingrays, a nurse shark, colorful corals, angelfish and delicate. Getting certified is expensive suit ($ 1,000) and air tanks. For those who have done both, is much better diving? How so?
Diving is much better in my opinion! you can go and look around without worrying Coming Up For Air. You can relax and take everything without thinking about how long you can hold your breath. Seriously, it's like night and the day. I went diving and snorkeling in the Virgin Islands last year, and diving was fun! It's a bit expensive, but should not cost a thousand dollars. I believe that only a few hundred to where I was.
